Our local Michael's has a clearance sale going on and I've made a couple of trips there to rummage through their bargain bins. I've got lots of wonderful finds - all for future crafty projects. I've always love fall colors - oranges, browns, muted yellows, reds and golds. I have this urge to decorate our home with the bright oranges. We could use a punch of color around the house. It's been somber since Kai died. So what better way to do that than to start with Kai's corner. I got lucky finding all the letters for Kai's name in the clearance aisle. At first, my goal was just to get the letters K, A, I since I might have a good chance of finding all three. When I found them, I figured I might as well go look for his second name. It took a lot of digging but I was able to unearthed all the letters. I'm still trying things out on his shelves and thinking about what autumn stuffs I'll place on them. I also plan to put up photos on the wall. Anyway, the season is not officially here yet so I still got time. For now, I'm just happy looking at Kai's name in his corner.
