“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”

Good quote...but yeah...much easier said than done.
Hum...I don't know that I'm ever just *at peace* but rather depressed or anxious (for the reasons above). I guess that's something I should be striving for. Thanks for the quote. :)
Interesting quote. I can see where the writer is going, but it is much easier said than done. I wouldn't say that my present is very peaceful at the moment.
Jennifer, I just found your blog through leslie's at cullensblessings. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful and beloved baby Kai.
From reading through your archives, it seems we might be geographically close to one another.
As for the quote - I think I'm doing all three at once - emphasis on the past and future, very little in the present.
with love and care,
sarah
What does it mean to have all of these feelings at once? Or is that even possible? Some moments I find peace only in my depression and anxiety. Siiiigh. Praying for peace for all of us. <3
